- Quote and usage details you enter into the intake form — for example system size, price, financing terms, dealer fees, your electricity usage and rates, your state and utility, and similar figures.
- Contact information — your email address (used to deliver your analysis link and to respond to support requests), and any information you include when you email us or join a waitlist.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical and usage data your browser sends when you visit (such as IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed), collected through standard web hosting and any analytics we use.
Payment information
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card number; Stripe processes it under its own privacy terms.
3. How we use your information
- To generate your solar quote analysis and make it available to you.
- To deliver your dashboard link and communicate with you about your purchase.
- To provide customer support and process refunds.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- In aggregated or de-identified form (that does not identify you) to understand solar pricing trends and improve our analysis.
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google (Google Workspace / Google Sheets / Apps Script) — storing intake data and running the analysis backend.
- Netlify — website hosting and serverless functions.
- Anthropic — if AI-generated summary features are used, limited quote data may be processed to generate that summary.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your individual quote data with solar installers, dealers, or lead-generation companies.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described below.
